Maria Echaniz is a commercial photographer based in Portland, Oregon, specializing in food, beverage, brand, and product photography and videography.

Her work is rooted in a passion for helping businesses tell their story through thoughtful, authentic imagery. Whether photographing a restaurant, a local maker, farms, a market vendor, or a growing brand, Maria focuses on capturing the people, products, and details that make each business unique.

Before photography became her profession, Maria spent years creating recipes, photographing food, and producing digital content through her food blog and YouTube channel. That experience gives her a deep understanding of the creative process, from styling and storytelling to creating content that works across websites, social media, menus, and marketing materials.

With a background in engineering and project management, she brings organization, reliability, and attention to detail to every project while keeping the experience collaborative and approachable.

Originally from Córdoba, Argentina, Maria has called Portland home for over a decade. When she's not behind the camera, you'll likely find her experimenting in the kitchen, exploring local markets and cafés, working on personal photography projects, hiking in nature, or spending time with my husband and kids.
