For this project, I photographed Cultivate, an outdoor food and wine experience presented by TASTE for Equity, bringing together chefs, winemakers, and guests for an evening centered around food, land, community, and connection. Guests moved through different stations around the estate, experiencing chef and wine pairings before coming together for dessert, celebration, and dancing under the stars.
The photography focused on capturing the full experience of the event: the food and wine, the people behind them, the preparation, interactions, atmosphere, and small details that made the evening feel unique.
Before the event, I reviewed the schedule and participating chefs and winemakers so I could plan coverage around the different stations, key moments, and changing light throughout the evening.
During the event, I captured a mix of:
The goal was to create more than a record of the event. I wanted to build a varied collection of images that showed both what guests experienced and the people and work behind that experience.
The final gallery created a visual story of Cultivate, from preparation and individual food and wine pairings to the people, atmosphere, and celebration surrounding the event.
